A student reported that she had been harassed two days earlier by an unknown male while walking toward Lander Hall from the IMA. She stated that, while waiting for the walk signal at the intersection of Northeast 40th Street and 15th Avenue Northeast, a man made several suggestive comments, and when she began walking across the street, he followed her. She began to run, and he ran after her, still making rude comments. She told a UWPD officer that she began screaming and ran to Lander. The subject is described as a white male, approximately 50 years old and 5-foot-7, with white hair and stubble, who walked with a cane. The incident is under further investigation.
At about 6:15 p.m., a UWPD officer made contact with two males smoking suspected marijuana at a concert sponsored by the UW. The officer seized the marijuana and issued warnings to both subjects.

The reporting person told an officer that a student had told him that several electronic devices were missing from a lab. A UWPD officer responded to a report of a theft in the Music Building. The reporting person stated that when he left his office on Friday, there was a metronome sitting on his chair, and when he came back, it was gone. He told the officer that he could have taken the metronome home with him and that several professors use his office, and metronomes often go missing. The officer found no signs of forced entry.
The UWPD was notified of artwork taken from a bulletin board in the Art Building between May 14 and May 23. Three pieces of student art were taken, including one beige fabric wall hanging with red apples and black mosquitoes with the text “Ye Shall Be As Gods” printed in black; one white fabric wall hanging with pink flowers; and one white fabric wall hanging with purple butterflies.
During fire-alarm drills in the southwest residence halls, it was discovered that a fire box in the H18 parking lot had been damaged. Damage on the box showed that it had been pried open recently, and an elevator key was missing from the box. The incident was classified as a theft.
