The driver of a Fed-Ex tractor-trailer rig choked on spicy pork rinds before losing control of his vehicle near Blaine, Wash. Edward Sutherland choked on his crunchy snack and veered across the median of Interstate 5 before stopping at the bottom of a ditch. He did not hit any other vehicles and sustained only minor injuries. (AP)

Two Indiana teenagers are being charged with theft after one allegedly stole money from an ice-cream parlor’s tip jar. The two boys, ages 15 and 16, had just filled out job applications when the clerk, who was returning from filing the forms, saw one of the boys take dollar bills from the jar and run out of the shop. After chasing the boys, the employee was able to get $2 back. (AP)
