Joan Ginther from Las Vegas has won her fourth major jackpot in 17 years. In 1993 she won half a share of the $11 million Texas Lottery jackpot. She won $2 million in 2006 off of a scratch-off ticket and in 2008, another $3 million from scratch tickets. Her most recent win is a $10 million jackpot from a Texas Lottery scratch-off card. (UPI)
A 23-year-old of Wellington, New Zealand died during a viewing of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” After the film ended, the man was found slumped in his chair, unconscious, with no sign of injury. Paramedics were unsuccessful in resuscitating him. (MSNBC)
A dachshund of Moscow, Russia has been trained to scuba dive. The Owner Sergei Gorbunov is a professional diver and has provided his dog with a diving suit and helmet. Gorbunov doesn’t believe his dog’s “high-pitched whines” while underwater are anything to be too concerned with. (MyNorthwest.com)
