According to Yahoo! News, California resident Yvonne Jean Pampellonne was sentenced to six months in jail for using a fraudulent line of credit to obtain breast implants and liposuction surgery. She used the credit to get $12,000 worth of surgery almost 18 months ago.

A native of Punxsutawney, Pa., was found attempting to revive a dead possum by the side of the freeway on Thursday, according to the AP. Shockingly enough, the man was arrested and charged with public drunkenness.

Raves:

Chinese businessman Chen Ming has opened the Little People’s Kingdom in Southwest China, an amusement park that solely employs people less than 51 inches tall. The main attraction is a rendition of Swan Lake in which the little people, male and female, dance in tutus.

Reuters reported that Crocheting Adventures with Hyperbolic Planes was named the most strangely titled book of 2009, beating out such heavyweight contenders as What Kind of Bean is this Chihuahua? and Collectible Spoons of the Third Reich.
