Tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins’ first catch of the day, a 17-yard reception in the second quarter, was his 49th of the season, giving him the UW single-season record for receptions by a tight end.
Seferian-Jenkins passed Jerramy Stevens, who had 48 receptions in 2000. Last year, Seferian-Jenkins caught 41 balls, which ranked fourth in Husky history.
In the fourth quarter, he set a new record for career receptions by a tight end by making his 96th, passing Mark Bruener.
