It’s been an up-and-down season for the Washington baseball team. After a poor start to the season, the Huskies have rode a wave of momentum up the Pac-12 standings thanks to a fantastic final month.
On May 24, 2010, Nick Taylor became the first UW golfer to ever win the Ben Hogan Award, given each year to the most outstanding player in college golf. For Taylor, it was the cherry on top of a career filled with accolades.
As its season enters the final stretch, the Washington baseball team is playing very good baseball. With 10 wins in their last 15 games, the Huskies have climbed up the Pac-12 standings and jumped into a tie for seventh in the conference.
After the Washington baseball team’s comeback effort fell short in the series opener against Utah on Friday, the Huskies could have folded. But they refused.
