Members of the Delta Gamma sorority invited many of their closest friends from the Greek system to their annual Anchor Splash charity event Saturday, which benefits Service for Sight and Aid to the Blind. Though typically a sunny event, this year the water was felt from the skies rather than in the pool. The Delta Gamma chapter at the University of Washington raised more than $23,000 for charity, making it the largest philanthropic house in the UW Greek system. Festivities this year included the annual Anchor Man contest, won by David Mantell of Tau Kappa Epsilon and a performance by UW rapper Anthony Shears.
