A report has been released that alleges South Africa’s polygamist president, Jacob Zuma, fathered a child out of wedlock. According to The Associated Press, criticism of the president has been mounting in a country where one in 10 are living with AIDS.

Raves:

The city of Tampa Bay, Fla., is attempting to stop the accumulation of dog poop in its city streets by putting dog-waste stations around the city. According to The Tampa Tribune, more people are moving into inner-city, high-rise condos with their pets and not cleaning up after them.

According to The Seattle Times, elected officials in and around Seattle are proposing a new plan to renovate the Highway 520 bridge that would include transit-dedicated space, rather than a high-occupancy-vehicle lanes going both directions. Gov. Chris Gregoire is opposed to the new plan.
