Between 3 p.m. on Nov. 3 and 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 4, a suspect stole an iPhone from an office in Guthrie Hall. The victim stated that the office was unlocked, but that only staff members have access to the building after hours. The estimated loss is $500.
During a party check at the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, officers spotted an individual with an underage wristband in possession of a Keystone beer in the hallway. The male suspect was escorted to the front door, where officers verified that he was under 21. The individual had intoxicants on his breath and was given an MIP.

Officers responded to 1209 NE 41st St. and contacted an individual lighting a cigarette on the deck of a vacant house owned by the university. The building was the site of an incident of arson last summer, and the suspect had been contacted by authorities for reckless burning previously. The individual is believed to be homeless and has been trespassed from Lander Hall, Schmitz Hall and the Staff Services Building. Officers proceeded to trespass the suspect from the university house and the four adjacent vacant residencies.
Sunday, Nov. 8
An unknown suspect cut a cable lock and stole a bicycle from the Stevens Court East ABCDH Garage between 7 p.m. Nov. 6 and 9:45 a.m. Nov. 8. The victim did not wish to assist authorities in prosecution and could not provide officers with the serial number of the bicycle, so no further action could be taken.
An officer responded to a report of a burglary at a UW Medical Center locker room. The victim stated that she returned to the room, which is secured by a key code, to find her bag unzipped and the purse inside missing. Her driver’s license, two credit cards and $5 in cash were inside the stolen item. Roughly 50 employees have access to the room, but according to the victim, only 10 were on shift at the time.
Wednesday, Nov. 11
A 20-year-old male driving a red Honda Civic collided with a pedestrian while heading eastbound on NE 50th Street towards 15th Avenue Northeast at around midnight on Wednesday morning. The driver saw a group of pedestrians run across the street as the light turned green and continued through the intersection. A 22-year-old female suddenly ran into the path of the vehicle in the same crosswalk. The Seattle Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the woman to Harborview Medical Center. The driver showed no signs of impairment or intoxication.

Oh no that's not funny, I didn't know she died. This is a tragic story and I am so sorry for those who lost her.
