Battle Royale

1. How many points do the Huskies have to score to beat Arizona on Saturday, given the injuries the Huskies have suffered in the secondary?

Christian: It’s going to take at least 28 or so — maybe more if another safety goes down and Tripper Johnson has to play.

Maks: More points than the other team.

Allen: Preferably more than Arizona. Sure the secondary looks famished, but Arizona only averages 188 yards through the air. It’s Nic Grigsby and the running attack the Huskies have to worry about.

2. If Nate Williams doesn’t play, how nervous are you about the safeties?

Christian: Very. So, you know, the same as usual.

Maks: To be honest, I’d be just as nervous if Nate Williams was playing.

Allen: Not as much as I was before I ate dog stew in Korea. It was good though, I’m glad I ate it. I just hope it wasn’t Husky meat.

3. Can UW make a bowl game if they don’t win this one?

Christian: No.

Maks: Probably not, seeing as how this is probably the most winnable game left other than WSU.

Allen: Of course they can, but it’ll be near impossible. A win against Arizona puts them at 3-3 with six games to go. Not a bad position to be in.

4. How bad is WSU?

Christian: As bad as Paul Wulff is ugly.

Maks: Bad may not be the right word. How about, pathetic? Very.

Allen: As bad as Paul Wulff’s coaching abilities.
