The Daily of the University of Washington

Game Daily: Battle royale

1. How ugly are Oregon’s uniforms?

Christian: Uglier than Roseanne Barr.

Maks: Joan Rivers ugly.

Allen: Mason Foster thinks that sometimes Oregon’s unis are “on point.” He is wrong.

2. How many yards can UW allow against the Ducks and still win?

Christian: Less than WSU allows to everyone else.

Maks: UW’s defense is going to get lit up pretty good no matter what.

Allen: 300. But they’re bound to give up as many yards as the number of uniform combinations the Ducks have. It’s like 4,000 or something like that, right?

3. Is this a bigger rivalry than WSU?

Christian: Yes. WSU is more or less irrelevant outside of Pullman.

Maks: It might as well be, considering how bad WSU is and how bad it will likely be for some time. But ask Cougar fans what they think of the rivalry, and they’ll probably equate a win over UW to winning the Rose Bowl, or something.

Allen: The Cougars are just a waste of time. So, yes, the Oregon rivalry is bigger than the one with WSU.

4. How glad are you that you don’t live in Eugene?

Christian: I’m mainly just glad I don’t live in Pullman.

Maks: About as glad as LaMarcus Aldridge was when the Blazers agreed to pay him $65 million over five years to shoot 20-foot jumpers.

Allen: I’m just glad I’m not a Sounders fan.

When we don't win a game in the regular season, maybe you can start talking. Future's bright at WSU, we may now have the best recruits but out coaches are doing a great job of finding underrated talent. All the Dawgs think the apple cup is a lock, but don't be surprized when we beat you again... for the fifth time in six years. Focus on your own school tards
