Spanish authorities have banned “happy hour” discounts from bars in Barcelona. The ban includes “two for one” drinks and unlimited drinks after an entrance fee. There is a £ 7,000 (about $14,000) fine for any bar that breaks these new restrictions.

Raves:

Rush Limbaugh, a conservative talk-show host, has been dropped from a group looking to buy the St. Louis Rams. According to ESPN sources, former Rams running back Marshall Faulk may buy the team.

According to The Seattle Times, the “Balloon Boy,” who was thought to be drifting in a weather balloon last Thursday, is now suspected to be part of a hoax set up by the family. Jim Alderden, sheriff of Fort Collins, Colo., has recommended that charges of conspiracy be levied against the 6-year-old’s parents.
