Who is your favorite actor?

“Johnny Depp. He plays really cool characters in different movies and is really talented.”

What is your favorite place in Seattle?

“Cherry Park because it has nice views of downtown and Mt. Rainier on a clear day.”

If you didn’t play your sport, which sport would you have played?

“Tennis. It’s a really fun sport. I’m always envious of the UW tennis players whenever I see them playing.”

What has been a favorite class that you’ve taken at the UW?

“Sociology 271 with Bob Crutchfield. It is fun because he is a really good professor who interacts really well with the class which makes it really interesting.”

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

“Greece because it is such a cool exotic place with amazing history. It has awesome weather too. You can’t beat the Mediterranean.”

Who is your favorite athlete at the UW?

“Will Crothers. He stroked last year’s national championship’s boat. He rowed for the Canadian national under-23 eights, winning a World Championship. He got second in the fours in the senior World Championship.”

What is your favorite TV show?

“24 is awesome. Jack Bauer is the man.”

What is your favorite food?

“Nothing like good pizza after a hard training week. Pizza would have to take the cake. It’s bad for you, it’s fatty and it’s awesome.”

What is the worst pick-up line you’ve ever heard?

“You must be tired because you’ve been running through my head all night.”

What attracts you most to the opposite sex?

“Good down-to-earth personality.”

What is one thing you can’t live without?

“My Bible.”

“Coldplay.”

“I’ve never had a girlfriend.”

“Generation Church. The best party in town.”

What is your favorite professional sports team?

“The New Zealand rugby team, the All Blacks.”

What’s your most embarrassing moment?

“I was going skinny-dipping in the lake with a whole bunch of my mates, and I tripped over a goose guard (wire) that I didn’t see. I fell on my face, naked, in front of a lot of people.”

If you hadn’t gone to the UW, where would you have attended college?

“Princeton. I was getting recruited by Princeton and UW. I went to Princeton and Washington on recruiting trips and Washington was way cooler, so I went to Washington.”

What is your favorite restaurant in Seattle?

“Mongolian Grill.”

If you could trade places with the opposite sex for a day, what would you do?

“I’d go shopping for high heels.”
