Food prices have risen 40 percent since 2007, leading to violence in many countries mainly in Africa and Asia that have been severely affected.

A 69-year-old Florida woman found an 8-foot alligator in her kitchen earlier this week. It had pushed its way into the woman’s house through a sliding glass door.

Raves -

The Bush administration has proposed that all new cars and trucks will need to meet an industry-wide standard of 31.6 miles per gallon by 2015.

A postal worker in upstate New York saved the life of a toddler when she fell out of a second-story window.

kids: you want to make the world a better place? start by respecting pedestrian/bicycle laws! they are here to add order to what would otherwise be CHAOS. maybe we should ALL just do what ever we want? in a contest between a motor vehicle and a bike/pedestrian you would be the unfortunate loser. 1 more parting word: pick up your trash! thanks!
