Rants & Raves

Share

Rants:

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said that the U.S. economy has a 50-50 chance of falling into a recession.

Pit bulls owned by Michael Vick will be featured on reality show on the National Geographic Channel this summer.

Raves:

An 800-foot wide asteroid narrowly missed the Earth this week, squeezing by with about 334,000 miles to spare, or 1.4 times the distance of the moon to the Earth.

A “back-up” Academy Awards show is being planned, just in case the writers’ strike interferes with the telecast on Feb. 24.

I would disagree with the pitbull story being a "rant". These dogs are featured in a show about Best Friends, an animal shelter that rehabiliates abused and abandoned animals, and I think it's an important message that's being broadcast.
