Living green between the sheets

Share

There’s nothing greener than sleeping in the wild, enjoying nature’s blanket of stars and soothing sounds. But for those who necessitate a more practical life, sleeping green can be a little closer to reality. Twenty-five percent of the pesticides are used on cotton, according to National Geographic’s Green Guide, so partaking in “green” sleepwear is just one more way to cut down on these carcinogens. Many common sleepytime amenities are now available to help you rest just a more guilt-free. Organic cotton, pesticide-free hemp and fast-growing bamboo are good alternatives to regular cotton.
