The name says it all. While explorin' Capitol Hill and hungerin' for some fresh and unique Mexican food, this place is good to go.
You can tell just by walking into the restaurant that Bimbo's is no ordinary burrito place. With faux grass roofs on the inside and adorned with such items and decorations one would find at a bar in Los Cabos or Cancun, this bitchin' kitchen offers the basics at an extremely affordable price: tacos for $3, nachos for $7.50, quesadillas for $6, and burritos for about $7. You can also get varieties and sides like extra guacamole, olives, jalapeños and homemade hot salsa on any of those items you order to make it uniquely your own.
However, if you can't decide what to make for yourself, they offer some interesting burritos. If you're a vegetarian, the No Meato Burrito is perfect. If you're absolutely starving, the Burrito Supreme is your best bet — it offers practically everything, and even then you can ask them to put on the rest. If you're feeling dangerous and itching for a challenge, the Burrito Inferno will take you down — jalapeños, cumin-lime sour cream, jack cheese and their homemade HOT sauce are bound to get you sweating all afternoon. With every burrito you have a choice of one of three tortillas: flour, tomato or spinach, along with organic pinto or red beans.
