Universities across the nation are dealing with dishonesty in the form of plagiarizing and fudging of credentials. Do you see academic dishonesty as a serious problem at America’s universities, and what should be done about it?

Academic dishonesty is always a problem. However, if the content or credentials under consideration is evaluated for individual comprehension, and for individual perspective, then plagiarism would be much less of an issue. I think academic dishonesty is a problem that has been around for a long time, but is only now being highlighted because of increased information sharing and access to sources. I don’t really see a solution. It is up to students themselves to realize that integrity is more important than a GPA.”
