Chocolati Café may be small, but it accomodates by being adorable and cozy. The warm ambiance and intimate setting makes this a perfect place to unwind and take in the view of the lake. The chairs are cushy and inviting, and the skilled baristas are friendly.
Try one of their gourmet blends of espresso beverages or purchase a unique handmade truffle. All the truffles are hand-dipped and made from all-natural fresh ingredients and fair-trade chocolates. Popular truffle creations include Cocoa Beware, a dark chocolate truffle with semisweet ganache and nutmeg; Strawberries 'n' Crème, a white chocolate with dark chocolate ganache and strawberry puree and the Bailey's Irish Cream.
"Eating these chocolates kinda defeats the purpose of exercising all the time, but oh well. They're so good," frequent customer Rachel Redding said.
If truffles aren't your fancy, also try their drinks, which include the Dark Vader, a rich chocolate and raspberry concoction, or the Peppermint Patty, an infused mint and chocolate drink. The Peppermint Patty is a favorite among the "Greenies." The Espresso Mint Dome truffle is the best on the menu — the chocolate ganache in the center is so smooth and melts in your mouth.
