Readers of The Daily

I want to applaud Sigma Chang for his article, ("America's worst president: Nixon or Bush?" April 26). Maybe I haven't read The Daily in a long time, but the last I remember — the articles haven't been so informative and insightful as this one. Chang was able to express his opinion with a touch of satire, which made reading the article even more interesting. I'm impressed. And I will keep reading.

There are many ways to compare and contrast Nixon and Bush. Sigma Chang laid out several of these in his piece. However, from my perspective of having suffered under both of these presidents, there are two critical and disastrous differences Mr. Chang did not mention: Nixon was not stupid, and he seemed to understand the distinction between stubbornness and decisiveness.
