WALLINGFORD: Wallingford Center

In the heart of Wallingford on 45th stands the Wallingford Center, a quaint and unique building that holds a plethora of services, from restaurants to arts and crafts. Here is a taste of the stores worth visiting at the center.

Yazdi and Yazdi II –— Searching for eclectic and bold attire? These stores have you covered, both with a mixture of common style and exotic prints. Yazdi II offers plus sizes.

Trophy Cupcakes & Party — If you have a celebration coming up and you're over the normal cakes and pies, this is your place. Cupcakes are their specialty, and they like to switch things up. They offer traditional flavors like chocolate and vanilla daily, and each day highlights a certain flavor, such as Snickerdoodle on Tuesdays, green tea on Wednesdays, and so on.

The Edge/L'il Klippers – If both you and your younger sibling or relative need a new do, these salons are the place to be. Offering services to both younger and older clients, these conjoined salons are a perfect two-in-one-stop hair fix.

Chutney's Bistro — An Indian restaurant with a matching atmosphere that offers a lunch buffet and a large dinner menu. Now that it's warmer outside, Chutney's offers outdoor seating — something that many other Wallingford restaurants don't offer.
