WALLINGFORD: Chocolati Delight

Don't be discouraged by the look of the place — the inside is large for loads of chocolate lovers. The darkly lit, two-story Wallingford cafe is known for offering a plethora of chocolate truffles and delights that are sure to satisfy even the pickiest chocolate eater.

So now you're wondering: What kind of chocolates does this place have to offer? Well, if you're feeling gutsy, the Cinnamon Almond Aztec Truffle is delish. But if you're going down the more traditional road, the raspberry, mocha and mint are all equally sensational.

Plus, for truffles, they're not that expensive. When you walk in, the chocolates are on display, and you can select whichever look the most pleasing. Prices range from about 50 cents to $1 for each truffle, and they're rich — so don't eat them in just one bite.

As the store is a cafe, it also has an espresso bar with a wide selection of coffee and hot cocoa to complement your chocolate treasures.

If you're not in the mood for chocolate treats and would rather sit down and have a nice latte with your books and computer, the atmosphere of the cafe provides a comfortable study environment. Free WiFi, plenty of space for your computer and books and lots of caffeine to keep you wired is perfect for a student who wants something other than a library. Overall, Chocolati is multipurpose and unique, perfect for dessert after dinner and suitable for study time.
