There is a rather peculiar part of Seattle where both very exciting and very sinister things exist in harmony. It's called Wallingford, and while it is a generally amusing place to spend a sunny afternoon in a typically rain-drenched city, something has gone wrong in this fascinating district. Featuring entertaining (albeit impractical) establishments such as High Maintenance Bitch, the upscale pet store and Not a Number Cards & Gifts, a left-wing trinket shop brimming with plenty of anti-Bush humor, Wallingford is an epicenter for bizarre juxtaposition and incongruence amongst its shops and buildings. — Guy Keltner
