There are more than 40,000 students at the University of Washington, and from choosing a major to earning a degree, worrying is inevitable for students. Student parents have one more thing on their list to consider: children. Looking for child care, though, should not be an issue any student should have to worry about.
The UW's Human Resources called Benefits and Work/Life, which, among other things, provides childcare services for the UW community through the UW Children's Center.
"The University is really committed to supporting students and employees with their childcare responsibilities," said Randi Shapiro, assistant director of Benefits and Work/Life.
Benefits and Work/Life offers on-site childcare for students as well as faculty and staff at three locations near campus: the Children's Center at West Campus, just south of Terry-Lander Hall, the Children's Center at Radford Court and the Children's Center at Laurel Village.
