Ugghh! Literally ugh! Mr. Emmert, call the exterminator. The UW is infested with too many Uggs and knock-off Uggs. They are everywhere they shouldn't be: on the Ave, in Balmer and, most unfortunately, attached to bare-skinned legs with goose bumps and short jean skirts (jkirts).
Girls in Uggs and jkirts, Who are you trying to impress? You look ridiculous; it's cold outside.
Tuesday I walked past a girl on the Ave who was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a Tiffany's heart charm necklace, a frayed jean skirt and khaki Uggs. She had no leggings to cover her bare legs and it was about 45 degrees outside. Several girls have the same issue: thinking they are wearing a stylish outfit when really are tacky obvious followers of people who had bad taste last winter and wore this semi-trend.
Fashionable women tried this look during the winter of 2004. I remember wearing it to an accounting class (sad but true). Several of my friends begin to notice that whenever they wore Uggs with a skirt, their close guy friends would always make comments about how weird they looked.
Here's one fashionable male's perspective. "Skirts are for summer. Uggs are for winter. They mix like oil and water," senior Jeff Daviscourt said.
Here's the type of male attention you Ugg and jkirt girls are attracting. "I'd hit that," senior Aaron Cahoon said.
I have nothing against the occasional wearing of Uggs, but looking like a fashionable split personality can be easily destructive to your well being.
Potential Hazards
You realize you forgot to shave your legs while sitting in class.
You didn't apply your self-tanner properly, so now you have orange streaks up and down your legs.
Your Uggs are so clunky you fall, and everyone around you sees your "Britney."
Do not attempt to wear Uggs with a short skirt ever again.
Observation of the week: There are too many overly promiscuous Halloween costumes.

And if you insist on wearing UGGs, pick up your damn feet when you walk. It's irritating to hear your scuffling, though highly amusing when you're doing an UGGly scuffle of shame!
